Head of Pre-Construction

Head of Pre-Construction

Location: North West (hybrid working)

Permanent position, full-time or part-time applications welcome

CPC are looking to make an appointment within our Land and Partnership Team who work with a number of Housing Associations across the North of England. The Head of Pre-Construction would be responsible for managing all pre-construction activities, including initial project planning, feasibility assessments, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are effectively designed, priced, and scheduled to align with client expectations and company goals.

Relevant skills and experience:

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks during the planning phase and implement solutions to mitigate them.
  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement pre-construction strategies, processes, and best practices to ensure project success.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients and coordinate with consultants to align project goals.
  • Industry Insights: Stay updated on construction trends, materials, and methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure pre-construction deliverables meet company standards and align with project requirements.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage detailed project schedules and reports as required by Clients, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
