The Field Service Engineer is primarily responsible to maintain professional and profitable repair and preventive maintenance service business on Stryker’s products while ensuring compliance with the quality system and manufacturer specifications. This role is within Stryker ProCare Medical Division to provide support on following product categories.
Advanced and Basic Life Support: Acute: Hospital beds, Patient trollies/stretchers, Temperature Management System.
Patient Transport: Power Load System and associated Patient Cots, Powered Chair - Ambulance Services
Repair and check Electronic / Mechanical Stryker products
Utilize software and technological tools to maintain proper records, and access technical information
Assist the regulatory affairs department / customer to action product recalls, field safety notices and field action notices
Fulfil Service contracts with planned maintenances
Delivery of technical Training to internal & external
Perform Installation of Stryker systems on customer site
Perform Software & Hardware Upgrades
Efficient and thorough documentation of service activities for internal and external reference
Ensure traceability of all field-based Stryker products through reporting tools
Provide technical support to Internal and external customers
Ensure service provided is invoiced if not under warranty
Scheduling of Customer visits in cooperation with Customer service
Educated to degree level in Engineering/Medical Electronics or equivalent, at least one of the following: Electrical / Electronic / Biomedical / Mechanical or HNC/HND in a technology subject with relevant experience.
~ Fluency in both spoken and written (technical and medical) English and local language
~ Adequate IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, Oracle, Service Max, Outlook)
~3 year hands-on experience in Medical electronics, combined with good mechanical skills
~ Experience in a Field Service role within the hospital environment and health care work
~ Experience and ability to build relationship with internal & external customers to drive brand loyalty
