We are currently recruiting for a Press Brake Setter/Operator to join a long-established manufacturing company based in Halesfield, Telford. Hours for Press Brake Setter/Operator Mon – Thu: 8.00 – 16.30 Fri – 8.00-15.30 Pay for Press Brake Setter/Operator £14.00 - £14.50ph Duties for Press Brake Setter/Operator

  • Operate an Amada CNC press brake or similar, must be able to set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters.
  • Produce products that meet the specifications of engineered drawings, taking responsibility for accurate and high-quality work, providing high level attention to detail and focus.
  • Keep working area clean and organised, ensuring a safe area for operation of the press.
  • Responsibility of regular maintenance checks, determining press and tools are in good condition.
  • Assist in other areas of the shop floor when required to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Previous press experience is essential a minimum of 2 years is required.
  • Capable of understanding engineered drawings.
  • Experience with sheet metal.
