Senior FP&A Manager

Our client, a highly acquisitive organisation, with impressive strategy in place for continued growth and innovation, is looking to source a dynamic Senior FP&A Manager with a passion for data and producing insightful MI, to join its talented team. Reporting to the Head of Group FP&A, the FP&A Senior Manager will lead across a number of areas of FP&A including budgeting, forecasting and month end board, investor and lender reporting. Main duties include:

  • Developing reports, both Group and Divisional reporting from the new system, with a focus on KPIs and adding business insight
  • Lead all lender reporting including business presentations to meet the Group's covenant requirements.
  • Lead all investor reporting, providing key insight into Group performance and answering queries as required.
  • Prepare board presentations and papers as required.
  • People management responsibility for the FP&A analyst, providing coaching, guidance and support.
  • Support the M&A team with new acquisitions, integrations and alignment to the Group's reporting requirements.
  • Delivering budgeting and forecasting cycles, including partnering with Divisions to ensure systems are optimised
  • Continuously improving the system
  • Month end review of actuals in reporting, adding analysis and commentary to FP&A reporting
  • Working with Divisions to improve and standardise reporting across the business
  • Support with the development and measurement of the Group's KPIs.
  • Assisting in delivering other projects as requires to ensure the team meets objective
Key skills & experience required:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with demonstrable FP&A experience
  • Strong experience of financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong systems knowledge and report writing skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build relationships in a complex business
  • Proven track record working at pace in an evolving environment
  • Strong presentational skills with the ability to present financial data clearly
