Job Description

Circular Resourcing are currently working with a number of well-established Solar / BESS Development Companies across the UK, looking to add a Grid Connection Manager to their team.

Opportunities based in both London and Bristol.

Hybrid / Remote options for both roles considered for the right candidate.

About the role:

  • Responsible for identifying and securing grid connections for solar and energy storage projects across the UK.
  • You'll need to be a good communicator with both the internal team, and external consultants working on behalf of the developer.

Position:

In this role the successful candidate will identify and secure new grid connections and apply their technical and commercial expertise to the management of existing projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify new grid connection opportunities, working in collaboration with the land and planning teams.
  • Apply technical and commercial expertise to the management of the connections pipeline.
  • Coordinate with and build relationships directly with National Grid, DNOs and IDNOs.
  • Manage and be responsible for the delivery of work undertaken by external contractors and consultants.
  • Apply for new grid connections and assess the viability of offers received.
