We are looking for a STRUCTURAL STEELWORK ESTIMATOR to join our dynamic team.

Key duties (Including but not limited to):

  1. Review project specifications, drawings, and other tender documentation to determine project requirements.
  2. Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed material and labour estimates for structural steelwork.
  3. Liaise with and obtain prices from subcontractors for specialist services.
  4. Highlight project risks and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Prepare comprehensive and professional quotations, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  6. Attend pre & post contract client meetings.
  7. Carry out project handover meetings and provide necessary information to the project management team.
  8. Assess and value adds & omits/variations during the project life cycle.
  9. Stay updated with new technologies and industry changes etc.

Skills and Requirements:

- Must have proven experience as a structural steelwork estimator.
- Possess excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Have Excellent IT and numeracy skills with the ability to work with the Microsoft suit of packages.

Desirable but not necessity:

- Full UK driving licence
- Experience using ASTA Power Project
- Experience using Trimble connect...
