Due to our continued growth, we are excited to introduce a brand-new position: Head of Event Delivery within our dynamic global events division. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of event logistics, from detailed planning stages to flawless on-site execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies for events, including transportation, accommodation, and on-site management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all logistical elements are aligned and executed efficiently.
  • Manage budgets and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled smoothly.
  • Lead and mentor a team of logistics coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure successful event delivery.

Key Skills/Qualification/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in event logistics management, with proven experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong organisational abilities with a track record of managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation abilities.
  • Effective team management and mentoring skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics software and tools, as well as proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • UK driving licence.
