GRADUATE CHEMIST LOOKING FOR A CHALLENGING, HANDS ON AND OUTDOORS BASED ROLE IN THE HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGMENT SECTOR
DEVELOPMENT: You will be offered full career development and training with long term potential to progress into more senior positions once you have gained experience
You will undertake testing incoming materials for Ph, flammability and compatibility for bulking, and ensure goods are correctly labelled and stored
You will complete all relevant paperwork and ensure compliance within Safety, Environmental and Company policy.
You will be trained operate a forklift
Please note this role is 85% outdoor work, with 10-15% in the lab.
You will have a valid UK driving license
You will be qualified to at least HNC level in Chemistry. Biology, Biochemistry or Forensics will also be considered at degree or masters level where sufficient Chemistry modules were included. (at least 4 modules with chemistry in the title)
Any forklift experience or yard or warehouse experience a plus, but full training given.
You will demonstrate a willingness to work outside and may have interests that demonstrate that e.g. playing outdoor sports
