Practical Information:

Location: Hybrid , High Wycombe, or London | Office Size: 120 | Team size: 7 | Reports to: Cloud Team Lead | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for the UK | Languages required: Fluent/professional level English , spoken and written

As our new Graduate Cloud Consultant , you will have a unique opportunity to work in a role that encompasses technical customer engagement and the implementation of multi-cloud solutions. Initially, you will be focused within the delivery team , participating in the Crayon Graduate program to gain expertise in c onfiguring, deploying, and troubleshooting technical solutions across multiple projects in varying sizes and complexities. You will work closely with architects and consultants to ensure project deliverables align with our objectives whilst gaining exposure to sales processes and providing technical guidance over time.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Utilize supplied designs to deploy Microsoft/AWS solutions and communicate them to customers through presentations, workshops and discussions
  • Assist in the sales process by creating content and offering recommendations for solutions, providing proposals, high level designs and statements of work (SOW)
  • Participate in product and solution development as part of Crayon’s initiative to bring innovative products, workload and solution accelerators to market whilst effectively collaborating with consultants specialising in Azure, AWS and Modern work
  • Take an active role in project delivery, providing support with planning, design and delivery as required
  • Assist in drafting Statement of Works

Your Competencies:

  • Have the confidence and ability to translate complex technical solutions to various stakeholder audiences
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or business Systems with a minimum grade of 2:1 or higher

OR

  • Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in an IT-related subject with a Merit or Distinction grade

  • You should be friendly, driven, curious, and eager to learn and grow personally. You should also be open to pursuing industry accreditations, such as Microsoft and AWS exams
  • You are proactive and self-driven, capable of working independently as well as being part of a highly skilled cloud practice team
  • You are approachable, and proficient in communicating both verbally and in writing, as well as comfortable in customer-facing situations
