Contek are proud to represent our client, a leading provider of CNC machining, prototyping, and engineering services based in Chesterfield

We are looking for a CNC Turner who is proficient in programming, setting up, and operating. They will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality production and meeting strict deadlines.

Programming CNC Lathes to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications using Fusion360.

* Select and install cutting tools, adjust tool offsets, and make necessary machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance.

* Interpret and modify CNC programs as needed to optimize machining processes and minimize cycle times.

* Ability to be flexible within your role, and willingness to learn other aspects of the business which could include Offline Programming for a flatbed laser.

Proven experience as a CNC Turner with proficiency in programming.

* Proficiency with Fusion360 or other CAD/CAM packages

* Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.

* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

There is plenty of overtime available and this is paid at 1.5x your hourly rate.
