Job Description

THE FIRM

Our client, a boutique project finance bank are looking to hire an Associate to join their ever-growing Renewable Energy investment team in London. They are predominant players in the European market, who have had a record year and head into 2024 with a strong pipeline.

THE ROLE

As an Associate in the Origination team, you will have coverage across Europe and responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Assisting the structuring and execution of complex international project finance transactions in the Renewable Energies sector
  • Leading the preparation of cash flow models, financial analysis, due diligence and negotiation of documentation
  • Managing the preparation of investment committee papers for new opportunities
  • Supporting origination activities
  • Assisting in pitching process, including preparation

THE CANDIDATE

Our client would like a candidate that satisfies the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 3 years a maximum of 5 years total experience in project finance, financial advisory,
  • Experience in the Infrastructure or Energy sectors - with a passion for Renewable Energies
  • Advanced financial modelling skills, with the ability to build from scratch
  • Strong experience in commercial negotiations and credit applications
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical, and critical thinking skills
