My Client has a requirement for a Principal EC&I Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington.
Role Purpose: The Principal EC&I Engineer provides leadership in delivering engineering and technical activities through process application, domain knowledge, and experience. The role involves coaching, mentoring, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Manage multi-discipline teams for timely and efficient engineering work delivery.
Promote cooperation across Engineering and other functional teams.
Manage technical aspects of engineering output to deliver solutions in line with agreed technical scope.
Identify and apply procedures, codes, and standards to engineering and technical activities.
Uphold the highest health and safety standards in the immediate area of responsibility.
Plan and execute project and technical audits and reviews.
Promote a culture of engineering best practice and contribute to cultural development and change.
Contribute to learning from experience (LfE) during and post-project.
Support business development opportunities.
Lead by example, demonstrating principles, promoting health, safety, wellbeing, respect, and inclusion.
Own the performance and development of team members.
Responsible for effective planning and organization of resources.
Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
Demonstrable experience in managing teams for analysis activities on various project types.
Membership in a relevant institute or demonstrable engineering experience for registration with the Engineering Council.
Experience in managing engineering scope from concept design to full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC).
Breadth and depth of experience in a range of commercial or defense projects.
Minimum Qualifications to be Verified: Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline with significant demonstrable experience.
