The Sheffield UTC Academy Trust provides a new and dynamic education. We opened our City Centre site in September 2013 specialising in Engineering and Creative & Digital Media and then opened our second UTC on the Olympic Legacy Park in Sheffield in September 2016 offering opportunities for students in Health Science, Computing and Sports Science.In December 2019 UTC Derby Pride Park joined our Trust specialising in Engineering and Life Sciences.All 3 UTCs have been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

Partnerships with world-class companies, schools, colleges and universities give our students a unique start to their future careers. We provide training today for the jobs of tomorrow. Our cutting edge facilities and engagement with employers’ / university partners provides an exciting environment in which to teach and develop professionally. Our destinations are testament to our success with students progressing to Russell Group Universities, including Cambridge, and securing higher level apprenticeships and employment at companies including Boeing, Toyota, Bauer Media, BP and The Royal Navy.

Under the direction of the Curriculum Director for CDM, you will support the delivery of a range of qualifications at L2 (BTEC Tech Award in Creative Media production and BTEC Tech Award in Digital Information Technology) and L3 including technical vocational qualifications (Cambridge Technical in Digital Media) and A levels (Photography).You will be proficient in Adobe Software (Photoshop and Premiere as a minimum), Microsoft applications (especially Excel) and digital equipment, including DSLRs.

You will be a highly skilled practitioner who understands the challenges of educating 13-19 year olds in an employer led technology rich environment.Effective partnership working is absolutely critical to the UTC’s success.We would welcome applications from candidates within secondary, Post-16 or further education.We also welcome applications from newly qualified teachers who have the skills and attributes to develop their expertise within our unique environment.
