The Tech, Video & Animation team are the internal creative division for Global Commercial Training & Education at Smith+Nephew. They're a close-knit team of creative design professionals delivering ground breaking visuals, innovations and engaging training experiences that are rolled out to our markets globally

What will you be doing?

We will be working directly with our production managers, lead artists and Subject Matter Expertise from all over the world providing creative solutions that align with mixed business unti curriculum priorities.

This will include growing engagement in classroom and online training presentations to devising and implementing online digital eLearning interactions, games, animations and platforms. You will need to have a demonstrable eye for UI/UX design, evidenced through a design portfolio, and be comfortable working within the Adobe Suite as well as crafting templates within Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint.

Projects will vary in direction, media type, business unit and learning objectives so an ability to collaborate with a team of established designers is essential.

What does success look like?

Success in the role will be determined by engaging learning materials delivered to the business to increase knowledge and ability in the sales and commercial functions. It will all hinge on fostering strong and positive relationships with people internally in different functions to achieve the end goal.

Successful candidates would need the following:

  • At least 2 years experience working in a professional creative / agency role
  • Experience designing or delivering training (specifically PowerPoint design)
  • A varied design portfolio of crafted tailored assets from graphic design, UI / UX design, logo design and other brand collateral
  • Confident consultancy and communication skills to work with the business to understand and respond to their learning needs
