Senior Supervisor - Modular - Fabrication

We are recruitting for Senior Supervisors and Team Leaders to work for a modular contractor with sites in Hull and Catfoss, and the contractor is looking to hire across their Fabrication teams.

This role is responsible for ensuring Team Leaders and operatives are actively engaged to meet high Safety, Quality and Environmental standards, as well as meeting or exceeding output targets, with high standards of quality and producing items under budget. Adhering to company policies and procedures as well as departmental goals and targets.

SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality)

1) You are responsible for monitoring, enforcing and compliance of all aspects of Safety, Environmental and Quality whilst encouraging high standards of adherence and compliance.

2) Read and understood the Company’s SHEQ Policy and Employment Handbook.

6) Ensure all the teams are trained adequately and have read all Risk assessments and Standard Operating Procedures.

7) Write Risk Assessments and SOP when needed.

1) Organise, control, and direct the activities of team leaders and production operatives under their supervision.

7) Ensure that all plant, equipment, and tools within the department are maintained, working in conjunction with the Maintenance department and General/Production Manager.

2) Resolve any conflicts within your team and help other senior supervisors resolve disputes in their teams.

3) Maintain discipline within the departments / section using the company policies and processes where necessary.

5) Ensure that production operatives are trained in tasks being performed within the department using the company’s training process.

7) To Identify Training Needs with the General Manager and HR Department

The contractor has a strong pipeliene of work and is recruiting across their sites .
