About Our Client

Our client is a well-established boutique law firm based in Manchester city centre. They have a great client base of SME clients and are looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to lead the team.

Job Description

As a Head of Commercial Litigation you will:

  • Manage and lead the commercial litigation department.
  • Develop, implement, and review litigation strategies.
  • Deal with your own caseload of a commercial litigation matters for a SME client base
  • Foster and maintain high-level client relationships.
  • Ensure the highest standards of legal practice are upheld.
  • Collaborate with other department heads on company-wide initiatives.
  • Handle complex commercial litigation cases.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members to reach their full potential.
  • Stay informed of trends and changes in the professional services industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Commercial Litigation should have:

  • A proven track record in commercial litigation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • A minimum of 8PQE, please note that the level of PQE identified in this advert is a guide only and does not preclude candidates with more or less PQE from applying.
  • Excellent client management and relationship building skills.
  • Robust knowledge of the professional services industry.
  • A strong strategic mindset with a focus on innovative problem-solving.
  • The ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions.
