Are you ready to take on the open road? James Kemball, a proud member of the Uniserve Group, is seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team.
About the Role: As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of containers across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely and efficiently operating HGV Class 1 vehicles
- Adhering to all road traffic regulations and company policies
- Completing accurate paperwork and logs
- Maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle
What We're Looking For:
- Valid HGV Class 1 C+E licence
- 2 years Class 1 experience
- Up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card
- RHIDES Card
- DP World port access cards.
- Clean driving licence with minimal points
- Strong understanding of road traffic regulations, including Driver Hours and Tachograph rules
- Experience with splitter trailers and container handling (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
- Must be punctual
- Pay attention to detail
- Be courteous to customer and other staff members
