MC Technical Recruitmentis currently looking to recruit an experienced Compliance Manager to lead & set compliance & HSEQ standards in charge of a small team on an industrial site (EfW Power Plant)

In this newly created role & reporting to the Maintenance Manager, as the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for:

•Support the director as part of the management team by delivering components of an IMS (integrated Management System)

•Manage the IMS system locally via use of MS Sharepoint

•Manage a small HSEQ team

•Develop an employee training plan & programme to maintain competence

•Liaise with HSE, Environment agency & other external regimes such as planning

•Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

•NEBOSH in Occupational Health & Safety

•NEBOSH in Environmental Management

•Experience leading & motivating a small team of HSEQ people

•Excellent record keeping ability & ideally experience with MS Sharepoint systems

•It would be advantageous to have an understanding of Waste & Energy from Waste technologies such as thermal power, Anaerobic Digestion or Waste Recycling facilities

What's on offer?

•Salary range from £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience

•24 days leave (plus BH)

•Car or car allowance

•Generous pension contribution
