The company seek to Recruit a Production Manager to join a growing and dynamic team.
Negotiable + Benefits Package Responsibilities: Ensure full compliance with health and safety policies & procedures across the Assembly floor.
Manage team performance, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
Carry out performance appraisals and objective setting in line with the overall company objectives and strategy.
Resolve personnel issues and manage workforce capacity, including recruitment and training.
Allocate resources efficiently to ensure optimal production output while minimising downtime to ensure the Assembly function meets the production schedule Lead and motivate the team to achieve high levels of productivity and engagement.
Monitor the assembly and electrical production processes, identifying and addressing bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
Monitor, communicate and improve department KPIs around Safety, Quality and Schedule, meeting schedule and quality expectations while ensuring the best working practices are maintained.
Create and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual production schedules.
Identify areas for process improvement to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Required Criteria 4 years experience in a factory environment Minimum 2 years experience in a factory supervisory role 2 years experience in a stores function Strong knowledge of ERP software including shop order management, inventory understanding and shop floor clocking Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan and organise the workload of a large assembly team For a Confidential chat about this role please contact Phil Doherty at VANRATH.
