Our clients Site Management Team sits within the wider Operations & Asset Management team which supports operational renewable energy projects (including wind, solar and battery storage).

The Site Managers work closely with the Asset Managers, clients, service providers, and project stakeholders, primarily delivering field services to effectively manage operational safety, inspections, electrical network operations, maintenance, and emergency response activities.

The team of home-based site managers works closely with our asset managers, clients, service providers, and project stakeholders, primarily delivering field services to effectively manage operational safety, inspections, electrical network operations, maintenance, and emergency response activities.

High voltage operations and maintenance are a key part of the services provided and the Site Managers complete a structured course of training and development that allows them to progress to senior authorised person (SAP) and to perform routine inspection and maintenance tasks on electrical systems.

Review and critique contractor safe systems of work (SSOW) and ensure compliance with the relevant work management process and site-specific requirements. Development of SSOW for site management activities and completion of appropriate risk assessments.
• Completion of routine site inspections and completion of associated checklists and reports
• Maintenance of site documentation, including H&S Plan, Environmental Management Plan, PPM Schedule, Equipment List, O&M documents, and As-Built Drawings.
• Operation and maintenance of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical apparatus. Management of permit-to-work system in accordance with the Natural Power Safety Rules (Electrical & Mechanical) and/or equivalent Client Safety Rules.

Liaison with distribution network operators and transmission licensees regarding site outages and works close to system boundaries.
• Participation in an on-call rota, providing 24-hour support for location(s) within area of operations and to other areas.
• Quality: All employees are expected to work within the systems, processes and procedures outlined within the department and / or company handbooks or software platforms or training manuals
