Select are currently working alongsidean initiativeEngineering and manufacturing company in Norwich, Norfolk.
As the AssistantConfigurations Engineer, you will be reporting to the Configuration and Engineering Support Manager to provide configuration control and administrative support to the Engineering team for the full life cycle of our clients products
The creation and approval of engineering parts, documentation and Bills of Material for release to manufacture and procurement
Assisting with the company change management process, maintaining product structures and configuration items whilst ensuring the integrity of the revised parts and documentation
Adhering to agreed best practice policies and approved operating procedures in line with Configuration Management Principles and processes
Responsibility for engineering permission settings and ensuring all completed work and documentation is transferred in an efficient and timely manner in line with the Configuration Managers/ Companies requirements and timescale
Assisting the Configuration and Engineering Support Manager with general engineering administration duties
HND Qualification within either Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent working experience within a similar role
Computer Literate - standard Microsoft Office suite especially Excel
Have a flexible approach with the ability to work within a small team to deliver the same goals and objectives
Planning and organisational skills
