Interested in working for a company that sets the standard and leads with integrity? Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.

About the Role:

CrowdStrike seeks a strategic, results-driven, and well-connected communications and public relations professional to support our rapid growth across EMEA and join one technology’s hottest brands, one of the world’s fastest growing cloud companies, and the company to beat in the high-profile cybersecurity market.

As EMEA Director of Public Relations, you will partner with key marketing and business leaders to execute communications programs and initiatives externally, and internally, designed to support and enhance CrowdStrike’s profile and reputation in the industry. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies and tactics to promote CrowdStrike’s technology and services portfolio, executive-level communications, and global presence.

This is a terrific opportunity to work with one of the hottest companies in security, sought after by top tier reporters and industry influencers, and to contribute to one of the most notable PR programs in the technology space. In this position, you will be at the heart of the media, business and security issues that make the headlines and drive the trends in the industry.

We are looking for candidates with a strong track record managing all segments of the media (mainstream, broadcast, business/financial, and trades), as well as experience with breaking news, high-profile broadcast opportunities, and financial press. Candidates will need to demonstrate their experience as a trusted partner to the c-suite and organizational thought leaders, as this is a role that will work closely with CrowdStrike executives and the cybersecurity industry’s brightest subject matter experts to bring our story to life.

The successful candidate must have excellent communications skills, exemplary writing ability, exceptional initiative, strong project management skills and painstaking focus on execution. She/he should have experience working with high standards under tight deadlines and be able to manage ambiguity as priorities change.

We’re seeking a candidate that can prove they know exactly how to reach target audiences both on and off-line. They will be responsible for drafting materials from press releases to blog posts, as well as identifying and engaging with media and influencers, pitching to journalists and ensuring our experts are at the right events on the speaker circuit with the right content. It’s a big job with an incredible team and we are on the lookout for an exceptional person to help catapult us on an astonishing journey. The right candidate will have communications experience across EMEA, a proven track record in establishing programs in each key market, and building local media strategies with an expanding network of agencies.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the next chapter of corporate communications at the world’s preeminent cybersecurity company and one of the world’s fastest growing cloud leaders.

What You'll Do:

  • Developing an integrated communications strategy for the company in EMEA, incorporating PR, Marketing and Social and integrating/aligning with the company’s global communication strategy

  • Lead the EMEA communications function, managing both direct reports in region, as well as directing corporate and other regional staff that support communications activities

  • Drive proactive media outreach to top tier, trade, and technology media; coordinate, and support press interviews

  • Develop baseline PR materials, including press releases, award submissions, article content, etc.

  • Proactively support and implement local thought leadership programs, including development of messaging, media narratives, and briefing notes

  • Adapt Corporate Communications initiatives for EMEA, ensuring stories translate to differing international markets.

  • Manage, support, facilitate, and coordinate engagement with PR agencies, driving ongoing communications and maintain reports of key activities

  • Provide support and content development for social media properties and engagement strategy

  • Proactively manage key aspects of executive staff visits in region, coordinating media, customer and other stakeholder events

  • Develop relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline

  • Monitor press cycles related to the company and the brand, strategically optimizing opportunities for increased brand awareness via rapid response

  • Communicate key wins to internal customers and stakeholders.

  • Help oversee the annual communications budget for EMEA and ensure its use is fully maximized.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in Public Relations and B2B hi-tech comms experience, preferably with cybersecurity and corporate experience.

  • Deep knowledge of EMEA media landscape as it pertains to business, mainstream, trade, and technology press

  • Experience architecting and executing high-impact media programs on a national and regional level

  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills. Excellent judgment, particularly in narrow timeframes

  • Experience managing and expanding a current network of media contacts

  • Fluent in additional European languages not required, but considered a plus

  • Knowledge of social media skills

  • Highly capable and comfortable in large, high-growth, fast-paced organizations

  • Equally adept at marshaling internal armies and personally executing campaigns to get stuff done

About Us

CrowdStrike was founded in 2011 to fix a fundamental problem: The sophisticated attacks that were forcing the world’s leading businesses into the headlines could not be solved with existing malware-based defenses. Founder George Kurtz realized that a brand new approach was needed — one that combines the most advanced endpoint protection with expert intelligence to pinpoint the adversaries perpetrating the attacks, not just the malware.
