The Blandford School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated History Teacher to join our thriving and supportive school. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach across the age range in their subject with the potential to teach additional humanities subjects to the lower years. Subjects in the faculty are highly valued and popular with students, performance outcomes are good and continuing to improve as we further develop our curriculum offer. This post is suitable for both ECTs and those with more experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • A Humanities related degree and
  • A willingness to work both independently and collaboratively for the benefit of students.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • The ability to teach History to at least GCSE level.
  • A passion for their subject and teaching and learning
  • A high expectation for students of all abilities
  • Forward thinking disposition, creative, receptive to change and able to work within and contribute to the continual development of the team.

The Blandford School will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates.
