Senior PHP Developer

Greater Manchester (hybrid - 2 days a week in the office)

Candour have partnered with a thriving Software Company dedicated to the automotive industry, who are looking to build upon their established development function by adding a skilled Senior PHP Developer to help them continue to grow their successful product suite. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a business going through expansion, as a result of impressive success in the last 18 months.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in PHP development, with a strong emphasis on the Yii2 framework. Additionally, experience with cloud technologies is required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Strong proficiency in the Yii2 framework.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Proficient in database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Terraform experience .
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
