Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Packaging

Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off Days and Nights

Salary: £40,000 + Overtime + Life Assurance + Bonus

The Company

My client is a world leader in the development of specialist high performance specialist packaging solutions and is extremely well established with more than 70 factories in 20 countries. This highly respected manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacity and is adding to the electrical knowledge already within their current team. The group supplies products into a wide range of industries with a reputation for product quality and reliability.

Key Skills

* Apprentice Trained Engineer Mechanical or Electrical

* Experience with Packaging/FMCG/Food Machinery

* Understanding of PPM Systems

The Role

You will have served a minimum of a full electrical apprenticeship in engineering, although if you have packaging experience with good electrical skills a mechanical apprenticeship will be considered.

You will have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, working on conveyors, inverters, drives, sensors, plastics or insulation machines, packaging machines, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for all production equipment including fault finding on PLC controlled equipment. There is a huge scope and variety on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
