As a result of growth, our passionate and innovative client are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to continue the successful work they do to support foster carers and the young people living with them.
Our client’s mission is to work collaboratively with foster families to provide a high quality service which meets the needs of children and young people in care and to provide them with a positive and nurturing family life which supports and enhances their social, emotional and educational development.

will provide professional supervision and developmental support, advice and guidance to a small number of fostering families based in the South East
that children, young people and foster carers receive a high-quality service, and that progress and achievements are recognised and celebrated
have a Degree in Social Work (BA), Master's Degree in Social Work, or a Diploma in Social Work (DipSW)
stable career history and knowledge of fostering services
sense of ability to support the needs of young people who have experienced trauma in a therapeutic way
driving licence and access to a vehicle
have experience working with an Independent Fostering Agency
A low caseload of foster carers
