About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team in September 2024. The successful candidate will work closely with our Early Years team to provide tailored support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism and Behavioural needs. Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, including Autism and Behavioural needs, within the Early Years setting.
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the individual needs of all students.
Implement strategies and interventions to support students' social, emotional, and academic development.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for students with SEN.Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism and Behavioural needs, is essential.
A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs, Education, or a related field is highly desirable.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and best practices in SEN to Apply: If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEN and meet the above criteria, we would love to hear from you.
