We are expanding our imaging team to support our Community Diagnostic Centre and are looking for experienced CT radiographers to join us at this exciting time.


The CT Radiographer role will work within a multidisciplinary team to support delivery both the acute hospital scanner and the community diagnostic centre providing opportunities for a wide range of both routine and complex CT scanning.


The team are supported by senior imaging support workers, support workers and admin teams.


We currently have 2 Siemens CT scanner within the main hospitals and an additional 2 Siemens Xcite CT Scanners in the community diagnostic centre which opened its doors in March 2024. The department provides a 7 day service and as such a rotation through nights and weekend shifts will be required to support this.
Cannulation skills are desirable, but training will be provided if necessary.

Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration as a Radiographer


Successful candidates will participate in a full 24/7 shift system to include weekends and bank holidays


Ability to train other members of staff including all clinical staff at undergraduate and postgraduate levels


Demonstrates an understanding and experience of working with performance objectives and organisation targets


BSC (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
PGC in Medical Imaging
Evidence of continual professional development (CPD).
Anaphylaxis training
Proven ability to deliver effective, high quality and efficient patient care.
Evidence of continuous professional development
Additional language.

Knowledge of basic computer systems and programmes such as office 365
Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.

Personal Qualities
Flexible and responsive to patient needs
Ability to work flexible hours and at weekends based on the needs of the service.
Able to comply with the Trusts moving and handling guidelines - the post holder must be assessed by Occupational Health as having a level of fitness to carry out duties/tasks after reasonable adjustments under the terms of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 have been made.
