About the Role Job Title: Composite Laminator Reports To: Composite Manager Based At: Milton Keynes, MK15 (New Facility) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Composite Laminator with a strong background in Highly visual Automotive carbon fibre components to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the lay-up and preparation of composite parts using pre-impregnated (prepreg) carbon fiber. This role requires a high level of precision & attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Perform hand lay-up of prepreg composite materials in molds or tooling. Cut and trim composite materials to size using templates, cutting tools, or automated cutting machines. Lay up composite plies in specified sequences and orientations, ensuring fiber direction accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and integrity of the work area, molds, and tools to avoid contamination. Vacuum bagging of parts, ensuring proper seal and setup for autoclave. Complete required documentation, including Job Sheets. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and use PPE as required.
