The Details:
- Title: Ultimate Survival Camp Leader
- Contract: Seasonal work available in summer school holidays
- Hours: 8am 6pm weekdays.
Summary of Position:
- Deliver a successful Outdoor Education Programme, our Ultimate Survival Programme
- Ensure the welfare and safety of the children
- Manage and support a team of Ultimate Survival Instructors
- Deliver outstanding, structured activities(outdoor education, bushcraft)
- Act as a key point of contact for parents, Head Office, host school, staff and children
Essential Requirements:
- Experience within outdoor education, with a specific focus on bushcraft.
- Significant experience working with children in an outdoor setting.
- Management/supervisory experience
- Someone looking for a rewarding holiday job, whilst furthering their career in the childcare and outdoor education industry.
Desirable Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Experience taking sole charge of a group of children
- Hold relevant NGBs or experience in all or some of the following: canoeing, archery, bushcraft, slacklining, or environmental studies.
- Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or Outdoor First Aid qualification
