  • Collating news, writing features and insight pieces, sourcing photos, proof reading and assisting editor with making changes to the print magazine
  • Assisting with any proof reading/copywriting required for the brand’s events – including awards category criteria
  • Play a key role in the organisation of the awards entry process, helping to build the judging panel, read entries and assist the editor with the chairing of the judging sessions
  • Support any other events/webinars organised by the brand
  • Join daily editorial meetings and regular meetings with the whole HLPFI team
  • Gain a broad understanding of the sector and grow your professional network
  • Travel to and represent the brand at press events, conferences and exhibitions worldwide
  • Build key relationships with experts in the industry and act as an ambassador for the brand
About you:

  • You will have the right to live and work in the UK
  • Experience of working in B2B journalism
  • Preferably an experience in the maritime and/or logistics industry
  • A willingness to develop off-diary and exclusive news content
  • You will need to be diligent, flexible, well organised and able to work independently
  • You must have a full understanding of written English and its application in both news and feature-based articles
  • You must be available to travel at the company’s request as you will be expected to travel both within the UK and internationally
