Brigade Electronics, a global market leader in reversing safety and all-round visibility for commercial vehicles, is seeking an experienced Product Development & Applications Technician to support the research, testing, and application of innovative vehicle safety products across our global markets. Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will play a key role in bridging product design and real-world application ensuring our technologies are practical, efficient, and deliver outstanding performance for installers and end-users. Key Responsibilities Conduct product and system testing, evaluation, verification, and validation Provide vehicle-related technical expertise to support product development and resolve integration issues Lead and support vehicle installations, field trials, and prototype builds Perform benchmarking, tear-down analysis, and troubleshooting of new and existing technologies Support engineering documentation, updates, and technical training activities Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve installation efficiency and system performance About You Experienced and hands-on with vehicle electrical systems (HGV experience preferred) Strong understanding of analogue/digital circuits and vehicle interfaces Skilled in fault finding, installation, and electrical diagnostics Proficient with Microsoft 365 and technical reporting Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working to deadlines Excellent communication skills with a practical, resourceful mindset Why Brigade?
