Job Description: Business Development Manager

Let's Recycle It Ltd is a plastics recycling company based in the south of England. We are seeking a Business Development Manager with essential experience in the recycling sector to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Maintaining and developing client relationships with suppliers of recyclable plastic materials.
  2. Negotiating deals to purchase waste materials.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has knowledge of the commodities we trade.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excels in communication and relationship building.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous experience in a sales role within a defined territory.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

The role involves:

  • Maintaining and developing rapport with existing clients while creating a new business pipeline.
  • Following internal procedures and policies.
  • Prospecting for new clients through various methods.
  • Staying informed about the UK recycling market.
  • Planning territory visits effectively.
  • Providing full coverage of the territory.
  • Demonstrating negotiation skills and budget awareness.
  • Attending material loadings and following company procedures.
  • Communicating effectively with the team and suppliers.
  • Managing and converting sales leads.
