Position: Kitchen Porters & Glass Collectors
White Horse Bar & Restaurant, East Runton, Cromer
Working Hours: Full-time & part-time work available
50 p/hr - plus tips
As a seasonal Kitchen Porter & Glass Collector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen during our busiest times. Operating commercial dishwashing equipment to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitised efficiently.
Kitchen Maintenance: Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying bins, and cleaning work surfaces.
Assisting Kitchen Staff: Supporting chefs and cooks by completing basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables, chopping ingredients, and portioning food items.
Stock Management: Helping with the receiving, storage, and rotation of kitchen supplies, including dry goods, perishables, and cleaning supplies.
Compliance: Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards set by the restaurant and relevant regulatory agencies.
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
You must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
