OVERVIEW

The Programme and Project Partners (PPP) model was mobilised in 2019 with the purpose of transforming major project delivery at the Sellafield nuclear site.

The partnership brings together KBR, Jacobs, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, Altrad Babcock and Sellafield Ltd to deliver a 20-year pipeline of major infrastructure projects to support the decommissioning of Sellafield and to create a clean and safe environment for future generations.

In delivering its pipeline of large-scale infrastructure projects, PPP is creating opportunities for its people, supply chain, economy and communities.

KBR’s rapidly growing nuclear team of teams is working at the forefront of the UK’s nuclear space on some of the most exciting new-build, defence and decommissioning programmes.

Procurement Systems & Supply Chain Administrator

The Role: You will support the Project Services Supply Chain Lead team to administer day to day use of the Procurement Systems & through ongoing training/development, become a super user of the Procurement Systems including, but not limited to:

  • Asite,
  • CompeteFor,
  • Electronic Procurement Management System (EPMS),
  • Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), and
  • Others as they come online.

You will coordinate with the Project IT Applications Lead (for Project Services) on Procurement Systems to:

  • Plan and manage Procurement Systems demands,
  • Support users with account creation, access & training
  • Provide first line support for users reporting issues with the Procurement Systems.

Supply Chain Administration

You will support the Project Services Supply Chain Lead team by:

  • Co-ordinating with Projects for documents that are issued for Supply Chain Lead Team review, assurance, or approval (Single Source Justification (SSJ), Recommendation Reports and so on) and manage these via the CEMAR system,
  • Raising purchase requisitions within the corporate purchasing system,
  • Being the single point of contact for external Supply Chain queries to the Programme + Project Partners (PPP). I.E., monitoring the Supply Chain mailbox/external comms into PPP and coordinating a response from the Lead Team, and
  • Arranging meetings, workshops, and events for the Supply Chain Lead Team such as General Meetings, Workshops, PPP Annual Supply Chain Conference, and the like.

You will control and manage the suite of Supply Chain procedures of circa >250 documents by:

  • Ensuring the latest versions are on the correct format, stored in the right location and accessible for projects,
  • Acting as a ‘Single Point of Contact’ when Projects request/need support finding/accessing/using the suite of templates and processes as well as logging and supporting the Supply Chain Lead Team’s assurance activities.

The Person

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Well organised & have e xcellent communications skills,
  • Have an interest in IT with a desire to help others get the most out of technology,
  • Be capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
  • Able to prioritise work effectively (both independently & part of a team) and respond to sudden unexpected demands,
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office 365 applications, SharePoint, MS Teams etc,
  • Ability to develop coherent processes, procedures, and work instructions, and
  • Above all, be self-motivated with a strong desire to learn & develop.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Problem solving skills and the ability to anticipate and resolve potential issues before they arise, and
  • Basic knowledge of end-to-end procurement process.
