Overview: Trusted Tech Team is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our rapidly growing team at our London office. As a sales engineer, you will be crucial in understanding our client's technical requirements and providing pre-sales support for our Microsoft Cloud solutions, perpetual licensing, and related services. You will collaborate with the sales team, utilizing your technical expertise to articulate the value proposition of our offerings to clients.

Responsibilities:

Technical Consultation:
Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and challenges, providing expert advice on integrating Microsoft Cloud solutions and licensing.
Assist clients with questions about their Azure environment, including but not limited to: licensing, charges, and subscription management

Pre-Sales Support:
Collaborate with the sales team to develop technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that showcase the value and capabilities of our products and services.
Provide detailed descriptions of Azure services such as Azure Virtual Desktop, networking, and storage blobs

Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on the latest Microsoft Cloud services, licensing models, and industry trends to effectively communicate the benefits and features to clients.
Provide clear and concise explanations of all Microsoft offerings both in Office 365 and Azure.

Client Engagement:
~ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing technical inquiries, and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.


Collaboration:
~ Work closely with in-house Microsoft architects and engineers to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to implementation, providing valuable insights for successful project delivery.


Training and Documentation:
~ Develop and deliver training sessions for the sales team to enhance their technical understanding of products and services. Contribute to the creation of technical documentation for internal and external use.


Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):
~ Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, or other related disciplines.
~3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer or similar technical pre-sales role within the IT industry, preferably with a focus on Microsoft Cloud solutions.
~ Proficient in Microsoft Cloud services, perpetual licensing models, and associated technologies.
~ Proficiency with the Azure infrastructure and services
~ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
~ Strong customer service orientation, committed to understanding and meeting clients' needs.
~ Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical teams.
~ Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changes and evolving business requirements.


Preferred Skills & Qualifications (nice-to-haves):
Microsoft certifications are preferred (e.g., MS-900, AZ-900, AZ-104, etc.).
Experience working with medium and enterprise-sized businesses in diverse industries.
Additional certifications related to security, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
Project management certifications or experience, showcasing the ability to handle complex projects from pre-sales to implementation.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Experience with optimizing Azure environments to cut costs
Ability to decipher and explain different Azure services and their charge models

Estimated Salary Range: £102,000K - £127,000K per annum (*DOE)
