As an Electrical Technician you will;
Be a key player in the electrical build, wiring & electrical testing of special purpose automation machines.
Wire machines, sub-assemblies, and control panels to Mpac schematics and documentation.
Work with Senior Electrical Technicians, Supervisors, Managers and wider project teams to highlight and resolve issues to deliver projects effectively and efficiently.
Participate in machine site installations and set-up in the UK or abroad.
Contribute to apprentice development and support.
Flexible to, on occasion, undertake tasks that may stray from direct day-to-day responsibilities.

Delivering electrical builds on time, on budget and to Mpac standards.
Maintaining good housekeeping.
Proven ability to work under own supervision or as part of a multi-technical team.
Experience of working in an electrical engineering environment.
Experience of electrical/automation machinery & ability to fault find.
A good understanding of low voltage systems: analogue and digital IO and other typical automation systems.
Sound IT skills (for use of shop floor computer terminals).
Ability to read and understand technical and electrical schematics.
ONC / BTEC / City and Guilds in a relevant electrical/mechatronic engineering discipline.
Experience of installations with pneumatic/electro-pneumatic equipment.
Understand basic PLC programming.
