Purpose
A unique opportunity for a talented Finance professional to join a dynamic team. You will be able to work on numerous tasks simultaneously, as well as working autonomously. You will look at the bigger picture but be competent to complete the day-to-day essential tasks. Accuracy is essential.
Most importantly, we want an individual who brings a fresh approach to finance, whilst harnessing previous experiences efficiently.
Areas of accountability
§ Developing, managing and leading our finance team, with support and guidance from the CEO and part-time FD.
§ Preparation of monthly Management Accounts Pack: P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow and Forecast for submission and review by the FD before issue to the Board
§ Ensuring regulatory and framework reporting compliance including producing and submitting timely and accurate MI framework information
§ Drawdown of weekly funding from the Bank and monthly reporting to them including where necessary monthly funding reconciliations
§ Annual Accounts Preparation - under guidance from the FD
§ Supporting with the preparation of budgets based upon input from the CEO and FD
§ Review of the reconciliations performed by the credit control team of various customer portals
§ Weekly Debtors and Creditors reporting
§ Weekly cash reconciliation review
§ Internal and external payroll including providing core information on sales and other data needed for Internal payroll. Support of any external payroll queries
§ Management and set up of incumbent and new umbrella companies
§ PAYE, Pensions, VAT reporting and compliance
§ SAGE champion, including SAGE accounts and Sage payroll updates
§ System and processes development
§ Weekly supplier run preparation
§ Banking – adding and amending beneficiaries to Banking Systems and preparing where necessary payment runs
Reporting Structure
§ Direct Reporting to the part time FD and where necessary to the CEO
Expertise required
Essential
§ Experienced in developing, managing and leading finance teams, including credit control
§ Ability to work as in a hands on environment and support others as necessary
§ SAGE Accounts and Payroll experience
§ Proficient with Microsoft suite environment
§ Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
Desirable
§ Experience working in a finance manager role within the healthcare recruitment sector (desirable)
