Health Care Science Practitioner

Are you a registered Health Care Science Practitioner (HCS-P) seeking a dynamic role where you can make a meaningful difference in patients' lives? Unlike many other NHS roles, this position allows you to broaden your expertise by working with both adults and children, enhancing your skills in diverse and rewarding ways.
Need to consider the patient's holistic Assistive Technology needs and how their AAC technology can be integrated with other specialist equipment eg wheelchair access, Environmental Controls (EC) and/or computer access
Independently run mounting clinics throughout the region to support patients who have ongoing needs

To work with the MDT to identify suitable set ups for integrated access solutions that allow patients to streamline their access for AAC, wheelchair access, Environmental Controls (EC) and/or computer access and to take responsibility to plan the management, support and implementation of these solutions.
To take the lead in coordinating and delivering mounting clinics in the region.
To support and adhere to quality management system.
Engineering degree along side a minimum of 2 years experience of working at a senior level in a clinical environment
Significant practical experience in engineering within a healthcare, social care, or education setting
Ability to communicate technical equipment-related information to other technical and non-technical personnel at all levels within the Trust, to patients with complex medical needs, other stakeholders etc
Experience of working with and understanding quality management systems
Personal Qualities
A Full Driving licence is essential for this role
Ability to manage the emotional pressures of working with clients with complex disabilities and terminal illnesses
