Halcyon Care are delighted to be working with a children's care provider based in Preston who are looking for a Registered Manager. They are private organisation that offers high quality residential care for children and young people with complex needs associated with challenging behaviour. As a Registered Children's Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and well-being for the children and young people in our care. You will work closely with the local authority, partner agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people.
Manage and lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to children and young people
Develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each child are met
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Ofsted guidelines
Identify training needs and develop staff to improve performance
Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure best practice
Registered with Ofsted as a Children's Home Manager or equivalent
Proven experience as a Children's Home Manager or Deputy Manager
Ability to work effectively with children, young people, parents, carers, and external agencies
Knowledge of childcare legislation, policies, and procedures
NVQ Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent qualification
Salary of £50,000 per annum + bonus + benefits package
