An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lawyer to step into a of Principal Planning Lawyer position with a supportive and welcoming local authority.

Your Duties

  • Advise on planning and highways matters, including s106 and 278 agreements
  • Handle planning and highways issues, ensuring compliance and sustainability
  • Offer guidance on planning enforcement and public law.
  • Advise and collaborate with officers and elected members on key initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor junior colleagues, fostering their professional development

What You Bring

  • You are a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives
  • Experience advising on planning matters inclusing section 106 agreements
  • Able to guide and support junior colleagues.
