Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Altro have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our friendly Manufacturing team here in Letchworth Garden City. This is a permanent night position, working Sunday night to Friday morning. So as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, what will you be doing? The Maintenance Engineering team supports both preventative and reactive maintenance on all Manufacturing equipment. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will provide an electrical and mechanical service, to ensure that plant reliability and availability is optimised. You will also support the Project Engineering team in delivering equipment improvements to increase production efficiency. The six engineers are paired across each shift to support multi-tasking and team work on more complex and labour-intensive activities and to cover absences when the 2nd engineer takes holiday leave. Previous experience in a multi discipline engineering maintenance role within a manufacturing environment. An Electrical qualification (Minimum 17th Edition) with a good understanding of engineering and machine basics and operations. We need a team player, who will support other team members but also have the confidence to ask for assistance when required.
