Due to continued growth, the position of Head of Commissioning has become available to join our successful team working in the West Midlands.

Costain is working closely with Severn Trent Water on their Capital Delivery Framework, as part of its c£2 billion capital programme for AMP7. As part of the Design and Build Framework lot, Costain brings together its design, construction, and consultancy expertise to undertake renewal and refurbishment projects and will assist Severn Trent in its target to make continuous improvements to its safety performance, whilst ensuring continuity of supply and consequently lowering costs for its customers.

This is a full-time role.

This position has a competitive salary dependent on skills and experience, in addition to a fantastic benefits package including pension contribution matched up to 10%.

Role Requirements

  1. Understanding of Engineering Principles
  2. Knowledge and understanding of Electrical qualifications such as BS7671, C&G electrical is desirable
  3. Understanding of sewage treatment, sludge, and clean water process systems
  4. Understanding of WIMES and water engineering standards
  5. Extensive technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices
  6. Previous experience working on large scale projects
  7. Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive
  8. Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way
  9. Must be customer-focused by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating, and meeting their needs
