Quality Engineer

Salary: £42,132 (23 month FTC)

Ensuring operational compliance to specifications & quality standards e.g. ISO 9001 Drive and support targeted Continuous Improvement activities Support resolution of quality issues, the internal audit process, and external audits Review of Shop Floor Records, technical specifications and drawings, inspect 'First Off' items for Quality Department approval and approve Certificates of Conformity Monitor and analyse reject data, present information to management Energise others to engage in improvement activities, and support others in identifying and implementing their own improvements Continually improve operating procedures and the QMS (Quality Management System)

Qualification in an engineering discipline or time served in an engineering discipline. Engineering, Maths or Science degree or equivalentProven experience within quality management in a manufacturing environment preferably of a similarly highly controlled nature (aerospace, automotive, nuclear, medical devices, etc.) Ability to effectively co-ordinate data collection whenever necessary to inform business decisionDemonstrable experience in Continuous ImprovementExcellent numeracy and mechanical systems comprehension
