Job Title: Data Governance Technical Lead
Employment Type: Permanent/Full-Time
As a Data Governance Technical Lead , you will beresponsible for the organisation’s architecture design authority, including seeking required approval from Data Governance side, categorising and tagging data assets for easy discovery and retrieval for business use case.
Data Governance: Develop, enforce, and communicate data governance policies and standards.
Establish processes for data stewardship, data ownership, data driven strategy, review, and escalation within the data control environment.
Ensure compliance with data regulations and industry standards.
Finalise to support the business in data driven decision making and actionable insights.
Data Quality: Implement data quality frameworks to identify and rectify data issues.
Collaborate with business units to define data quality metrics and benchmarks. Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendor stakeholders and project team.
Monitor and report on data quality performance across various systems.
Collaborate with data owners to improve data accuracy and reliability.
Data Marketplace: Create and manage a centralised data marketplace or data exchange platform.
Develop, test, and deploy DQ and Data integration solutions in accordance with customer’s schedule.
Facilitate data sharing agreements between internal teams or external partners.
Optimise data marketplace functionality and user experience.
Data Cataloging: Maintain a comprehensive data catalog containing metadata and data lineage information.
Categorise and tag data assets for easy discovery and retrieval.
Ensure data catalog accuracy and completeness.
Data Profiling: Conduct in-depth data profiling to understand data characteristics and patterns.
Identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies in data sets.
Professional experienced in Informatica data governance, data quality, data marketplace, data profiling, and data cataloging typically.
Expertise in managing and ensuring the quality, availability, and usability of organisational data assets.
Experience with Data Catalog tools like Alation, Informatica, Collibra, Infosphere, Data world etc.
Experience in a building a comprehensive data catalogue information by referring the organisation metadata, data lineage information and by using organisational data assets.
Experience in Data ware housing concepts and methodologies.
Strong background in managing engineering teams with understanding of digital technologies systems.
Excellent level of ability to structure, analyse/ interpret data.
