CereCore is seeking a Patient Portal Business Analyst to join our team.
The Patient Portal Business Analyst will specialise within the Patient Electronic Health Record (MEDITECH Expanse) and is responsible for analysing and improving the electronic systems used in healthcare settings to manage patient information. Requirement Gathering : Collaborate with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, IT teams, and system users, to gather and document business requirements for patient electronic systems
System Analysis: Analyse existing patient electronic systems to identify areas for improvement, such as functionality enhancements, process optimisation, and integration with other healthcare systems
Facilitate change management activities to ensure smooth transitions during system upgrades, enhancements, or implementations
Standard Content Build Phase:
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with developers, project managers, and system administrators, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle, building strong relationships
Understand the architecture and integration processes for patient electronic systems, collaborating with technical teams to design and build technical components that meet the business requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Integrations : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security and finance to understand integration requirements, ensuring quality and consistency in integration processes through thorough documentation and clear communication.
Implementation and Stabilisation Phase:
Create detailed system documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials, to support system implementation and user adoption.
Testing and Quality Assurance : Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality, identify and resolve defects, and ensure the system meets quality standards
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse system data to identify trends, generate reports, and provide insights that support operational decision-making and process improvement
User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, including healthcare professionals and administrative staff, to ensure smooth system adoption and effective use
Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline
Demonstrable experience working on clinical systems including system analysis, design, integration and security.
Possess strong analytic and technical skills and the ability to translate complicated data into useable information
Willingness to prepare, deliver, present and facilitate training to a range of different audiences, ensuring a seamless transition
Any programming experience including SQL would be advantageous but not required.
