Seeking experienced Platers to join our team in assembling heavy engineering products for offshore use. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the metalworking industry. Position: Plater (2 positions available) Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00 Salary: £15.20 per hour Overtime: Paid at time and a half Contract: Temporary with the potential for permanent placement after 13 weeks Key Responsibilities: Perform plating tasks including electroplating, immersion plating, and other metal coating processes. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Assemble heavy engineering products for offshore applications. Ensure quality standards are met throughout the plating process. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Requirements: Proven experience as a Plater in a metal fabrication or similar industry. Familiarity with various plating methods and techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and precision. Knowledge of health and safety protocols related to metalworking.
