CHECK Team Leader - CTL - Lead Consultant – Principal Penetration Tester

Our client is a leading global pure-play Cyber Security Consultancy. Due to continued client growth, they are looking for a CHECK Team Leader (Lead Consultant – Principal Penetration Tester)

In this role, you will lead and manage a team of cyber security consultants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality penetration testing and security assessments.

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining standards of excellence and driving the continuous improvement of services.

Key Attributes:

  • Lead a team of CHECK-accredited security consultants, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Plan, lead and execute penetration tests as well as contribute to other cross discipline security projects
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of web application, mobile application, wireless, infrastructure and physical penetration tests.
  • Providing structured programmes of security testing, consultancy and research combined with the delivery of informative reports detailing engagement activities
  • You will have a large impact on the success of the organisation and client projects guiding teams to deliver wider cyber projects
  • You will want to continue to remain hands-on working on the higher-level client’s work. However, in addition, you will take a technical and delivery lead on new propositions
  • Ensure all engagements meet the highest quality standards and adhere to industry best practices
  • Continual professional development to maintain and develop knowledge and technical competencies
  • Delivering high-quality technical reports to clients
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal processes and methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.

Required:

  • MUST have at least 2 year’s experience as a CHECK Team Leader
  • Current CREST CCT-INF/ CCT-APP or Cyber Scheme Team Leader (INF) or (APP)
  • SC cleared or willing to go through UK Government Security Clearance
  • Ability to work as a lead for components of large complex projects
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
