Account Manager - Automotive, Plastic Fasteners

The role is to look after one of the company's major accounts and will require you to identify key opportunities with the client as well as nurturing and growing the relationship.

As our Account Manager, you will:
· Take ownership of one of the company key accounts.
· Manage the commercial and technical sales activities for products in line with company strategy.
· Nurture Customer relationships that provide insight and a landscape for competitive advantage.
· Work closely with Sales leadership and operations;
· Perform market analysis and project acquisition
· Account Manager - Automotive, Plastic Fasteners

Ideally a proven track record of success of selling consumables into Automotive OEM's or Tier 1 suppliers, although we will also consider other market sectors
· A track record of success as an Account Manager dealing with a high value account
· We will also consider candidates who have an active interest in cars or automotive market, out of work, but are selling into a different market
· We will consider applicants who are looking for their first step into Account Management, but they must be from the Automotive sector
· Extensive project management leadership skills for coordination of technical projects using a multi-disciplined team approach
· Strategic thinker with a strong capability to proactively identify risks and apply problem-solving skills with an innovative and flexible approach

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Account Manager, Regional Account Manager, Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Design Engineer, Design Manager, Technical Support, Applications Engineer - Automotive OEM, Automotive Tier 1 / 2 /3 suppliers, Industrial Manufacturing, Aerospace, Components, Off Highway and Commercial Vehicle, Industrial Fasteners, Plastic Injection.
