Horizontal Borer Operator

Job Title: Horizontal Borer Operator We are currently working with a highly respected company who is based in Aberdeen who due to exceptional growth in the business are currently recruiting for Horizontal Borer Machinists Key Responsibilities: -

• Program, set up, and operate Horizontal Borer machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are operating efficiently
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure production targets are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating Horizontal Borer machines.
• Proficient in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Package Flexible on shift pattern/hours Salary - depending on experience Overtime at time and a half and double time on night shift Shift allowance is 1.5x for night shift Company pension
